The message, styled as an email from the fictional character Melissa McGamepass, does not name the game. However, the message mentions the words “mysterious signal” and “anomaly”. Some users believe this refers to the co-op action game Outriders from studio People Can Fly. Crucial plot elements in Outriders include a mysterious signal and an anomaly that grants superpowers to the protagonists.
The release of Outriders is scheduled for April 1 of this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
