Atlas Superstore supermarket is a favorite player shelter in Verdansk. With the latest update, its interior has been transformed. Players believe that this confirms previously published information about a major overhaul of the battle royale map.
Initial leaks regarding the 1980s look of Verdansk were found in several areas of the city. According to rumors, the city will be transformed beyond recognition, featuring new landmarks and points of interest.
Despite Activision denying everything, they sent a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown request to the original source of the information and everyone who spread it. This fueled rumors among the community about the map change.
Following the supermarket's cosmetic update, users discovered posters inside featuring a redesigned Olympic Bear.
Earlier, other easter eggs were found in the game, such as a countdown timer to a nuclear missile launch. This sparked rumors of a nuclear strike that will hit Verdansk.
