During the developer livestream dedicated to Overwatch 2, new maps that will appear in the hero shooter were revealed. A special short video was published for each of them.
Each map represents a real-world city, and recognizable landmarks can be spotted in the footage. Rome, New York, Toronto, Rio, and Monte Carlo were presented.
In addition to the new maps, an updated “Push” mode was introduced. Players will have to take control of a robot to direct it toward the enemy base. Due to the reduction of team sizes in Overwatch 2, it will undergo changes.
The developers also promised to completely rework some characters, such as Bastion.
