The development team from Amplitude Studios published a short teaser on the official Twitter account of their new project Humankind.
The 20-second video showcases a poster depicting Soviet army soldiers and the recognizable T-34 tank. This is a teaser for the Soviet culture. Players will be able to access it in the Contemporary Era in the 4X strategy game Humankind.
The game will also feature Australian, Chinese, Egyptian, American, and other cultures. As far as is known, the Soviet culture will be characterized by expansionism. The unique unit will be a tank called the Red Army Tank by the game’s creators. The Arms Factory will also be a unique building for this culture.
The release has been repeatedly postponed. The current announced date is — August 17, 2021. Some players have already been able to play. For example, those who pre-ordered in early May.
