Port Royale 4 was developed by Gaming Minds Studios and released by Kalypso Media in September 2020. Now the project has made its way to the Nintendo Switch portable console.
The game is set in the 17th century. Players will take on the role of a colony governor. It is necessary to develop small settlements and then turn them into full-fledged cities. This is an economic strategy game where properly established trade routes play an important role. Cargo is delivered by sea, so when charting a course, one must beware of storms that can destroy the goods.
The game also features a combat component. The video shows a short snippet of a naval battle. Battles take place in turn-based mode, and up to 8 ships can take part in them.
Port Royale 4 is available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, as well as on PC. It can now be purchased for Switch in the Nintendo eShop for 4,499 rubles.
