The game is being developed by a team from the TOHO Games division (TOHO is a Japanese film company). Two other projects based on the Godzilla franchise are in the works — “Godzilla Destruction” and “Run Godzilla”.
In Godzilla Battle Line, players will be given the opportunity to assemble their own squad consisting of Kaiju (from Japanese: strange beast, monster). Military vehicles can also be used. The maximum number of units is 8.
Players will have to compete in battles against other players. The sessions are stated to be short — a battle will last just 3 minutes. You need to deploy your fighters and command them in real time. The main goal is to eliminate the enemy Kaiju leader.
The game was planned to be released in May, but the date was postponed. A new trailer with the release date was published on the TOHO Games YouTube channel — June 15 of this year. This is a game for Android and iOS mobile devices.
