New Forza Motorsport is a “huge generational leap”. Creators promise an “entirely new experience”

Some players have already gained access to the new Forza Motorsport, but the game will not be released before next year.

During the stream, creative director Chris Esaki confirmed that the racing game from Turn 10 Studios is a new installment in the series that will not receive a sequential number:

“The title of the game is Forza Motorsport. There is no 8 after the title. It is truly a new Forza Motorsport experience.”

The executive confirmed that the changes made compared to Forza Motorsport 7 are a “huge generational leap”. The creator even made an interesting comparison, stating that in his opinion, the new Forza Motorsport compared to Forza Motorsport 7 offers a bigger difference than the releases introduced between Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Motorsport 7.

As a reminder, Forza Motorsport 4 was released in 2011, and Forza Motorsport 7 – in 2017
