The start of the new season in Fallout 76 was marred by technical issues.
A new season means a new battle pass, progressing through which players can earn valuable rewards.
However, players complained about weekly challenges. Some encountered them already marked as “completed”.
As a result, they cannot earn points for them, and leveling up the battle pass becomes more difficult.
The developers acknowledged the problem. They will not be able to replace the challenges this week, but promised to “double the rewards” for daily challenges until July 12. Plans are also in place to add extra “weekly challenges” next week.
It is not yet clear what exactly caused the problem and whether a similar bug will occur in the future.
