Today marks the global release of Contra Returns. It is a free-to-play game with microtransactions. It is available on iOS and Android mobile devices.
Development is handled by TiMi Studio (Call of Duty: Mobile and Honor of Kings), a subsidiary of the “Chinese giant” Tencent.
Contra Returns features a story campaign, a set of challenges, and PvP game modes. There is also a “one life” mode where players have no room for error — the game ends after the first hit taken.
