Into the Pit is a fast-paced roguelite retro first-person shooter in which players will find themselves in a cursed village and begin harvesting. The objective – eliminate all demons encountered, but the character will shoot not from guns, but using magic. The gameplay is reminiscent of the classic shooter Heretic, which was published by id Software in the mid-1990s.
According to the story, the main character – a member of a family of mystics, heads to a neighboring village to investigate rumors of occult powers and find out what happened to cousin Luridia. The game promises spell crafting experiments and character progression.
Into the Pit will be released on October 19 on PC, Xbox consoles, and on Xbox Game Pass.
