The graphics output is interesting – this is the first example of supersampled 8K resolution running on PS5. This does not mean the game will run at native 8K resolution; the output resolution is set to 4K.
There will be two graphics options: supersampling mode – 8K at 60 frames per second and 4K at 120 frames per second. On PS4 – 1080p at 60 frames per second.
The Touryst is a voxel sandbox platformer where the player becomes a vacationer on the islands, engaging in arcade activities, surfing, and uncovering the mystery of an ancient civilization.
The Touryst will be released on PS5 and PS4 on September 9, 2021.
