Since its full release at the beginning of the month, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened has become not only the most downloaded phone game in the App Store and Chinese app stores. According to the App Annie portal, its financial performance is keeping pace — in terms of box office revenue, it is the No. 1 game in China, including Hong Kong and Macau on Apple phones, and No. 2 in Taiwan. Following its success in China, a release in other countries of the Asia-Pacific region is expected in late 2021.
