Panzer Dragoon Voyage Record is an entry in the series developed for VR and announced in March 2020. According to the creators’ promises, the game will feature missions based on events from previous installments.
A post appeared on Twitter stating that the game had been cancelled due to the termination of the contract by Sega and the death of producer and CEO of Wildman Inc. Haruto Watanabe. However, refuting information quickly emerged. Friends of the creator reported that he is alive and out of danger. Two of them wrote:
“I was at the Wildman office and can confirm that he is safe. Many friends are gathering.”
“We just received confirmation that our friend and colleague is safe.”
Whoever was managing the game’s Twitter profile deleted the post several hours after publication. The reason for spreading the false information remains unknown.
