The result of Metroid Dread is particularly interesting. The game is the fastest-selling in the history of the Metroid brand on the British market. It even surpassed Metroid Prime 3: Corruption in the UK.
Less optimistic news for Ubisoft. Far Cry 6 sold about 70% worse on the British market than Far Cry 5 in its first, launch week. Most copies of Far Cry 6 were accounted for by the PS5 (47%). The remaining copies were bought by owners of PS4 (24%) and Xbox One / XSX (29%). However, it should be remembered that sales of physical game editions are constantly declining.
Another newcomer is Alan Wake Remastered. The remastered version of the game took fifth place in the charts. 63% of the copies sold were on PS5; 21% on PS4, and 17% on Xbox One / XSX.
