Recently, Riot Forge (Riot Games’ publishing label) released 2 games at once in the League of Legends universe on PC on Steam and other platforms. Now Riot Games has reminded everyone of another one.
This is a team-based fighting game titled “Project L”. Players will need to build a team of 2 different champions (fighters). Judging by the video, fighters mostly face off “one-on-one” in the arena, while the second character will appear when executing certain moves (acting in a support role). The developers promise that they will pay special attention to the netcode.
They note that this is merely a “vertical slice” of the game and there is still a lot of work ahead.
“In this preview, we showed the game's updated art style and the champions’ [fighters’] moves. You will be able to see how we approach controls, using the principle of ‘easy to learn, hard to master’.”
