Valve added a badge to Steam for nearly “30 thousand rubles” to decorate profiles

Valve continues to offer various decorations for Steam user profiles. The new badge will make a great addition to the collection if you have enough currency

Valve has expanded the Points Shop lineup on Steam with new items. Among them is a “seasonal badge” that,  unlike its predecessors, offers not 20 levels, but a full 40.

Each level costs 1,000 Steam points. You can receive 135 points for every 100 rubles spent by purchasing any game, DLC, hardware, application, soundtrack, or in-game item.

For the maximum level of the badge, you will have to spend 40,000 Steam points, or approximately 29.7 thousand rubles (297 [times 100 rubles] * 135 = 40,095).

At the same time, points don’t necessarily have to be “bought”; they can be awarded by other users, for example if they like a game review. Also, players previously practiced buying and then reselling in-game items on the Steam Community Market. This way, one can recover part of the money spent to purchase items again and thereby earn a few more points.

In this regard, particularly enterprising collectors will be able to obtain the badge practically “for free” if they create engaging content that many users appreciate and award with points, or save money on the purchase.
