Special attention goes to a participant nicknamed Mitchriz, who completed Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice blindfolded in 2 hours.
The entire playthrough is available in the video below. Mitchriz’s blindfold does not let light through. This means that he had to rely entirely on hearing. The character was controlled using a mouse and keyboard.
Minor issues occurred during the playthrough. Mitchriz got stuck occasionally, but managed to finish the game in 2 hours and 35 seconds. Five months ago, he did the same in just under 5 hours.
A number of videos can be found on YouTube where various creators try playing Sekiro by ear. This indicates a special interest in Sekiro among “blind” speedrunners.
