Users of the ResetEra forum noticed a report about the German authorities investing in a game that uses NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and blockchain.
The competition received numerous submissions, and the jury chose several projects, including the NFT game Evolution Against Humanity, which will receive 50,000 euros.
In Evolution Against Humanity, players must survive in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies. Property (land) and unique items are acquired in the form of NFTs, which are traded via blockchain and cryptocurrency.
It is reported that players will be able to use a metaverse of sorts to earn money through NFTs. According to the roadmap, the first prototype is scheduled to be presented at the end of June.
In addition to NFTs, traditional elements of “survival” games are also expected: map exploration, crafting, farming, looting, fighting zombies, and forming communities.
