Amazon's Lost Ark servers struggle with player influx and break down

Yet another Amazon project cannot boast a reliable server infrastructure. First New World took the hit, and now chaos ensues in Lost Ark

Tech giant Amazon failed to properly prepare for the launch of Lost Ark. The influx proved so massive that players are forced to wait in queues, just as it was once with New World.

However, the lucky few who still managed to get onto the servers are having a rough time as well. The current state of the servers makes the game simply unplayable.

Desperate players are asking Amazon to consider imposing some server restrictions, such as lowering the server population caps in the EU (European region).

According to bigdaddy848, this would eliminate the need to wait in queues for hours like they currently do. Moreover, group content cannot be completed because matchmaking functions improperly (or does not work at all). Players have to explore the world of Lost Ark in solo mode. According to a report, the issue has specifically affected the European region.
