Call of Duty will make Xbox Game Pass more interesting for PS5, PS4, and Switch owners. Survey results

Microsoft wants to acquire Activision Blizzard to expand its offering, and once the deal closes, many strong games will join the Xbox Game Pass subscription.

As soon as the company gets the green light, many gamers will be interested in the American corporation’s consoles or other devices featuring Game Pass.

In January, YouGov conducted a survey of 1,200 American and 1,200 British adults, confirming that offering Xbox Game Pass with Activision could significantly impact the future performance of Microsoft’s service.

Adding Activision products to Xbox Game Pass would make 43% of Xbox gamers, 42% of PC gamers, and 27% of mobile gamers interested in Microsoft’s service. These are the figures for the United States.

In the UK, the situation looks no less interesting: 48% of Xbox owners, 29% of PlayStation fans, 26% of Nintendo and PC gamers, and 20% of smartphone fans are ready to consider purchasing Xbox Game Pass once the Activision lineup joins it.

Many of the surveyed Xbox owners (over 40% in both groups) confirmed that they are not currently subscribed to Game Pass, but the Activision offering could change their minds.
