FromSoftware has developed a new patch 1.04 for Elden Ring. In addition to balance adjustments and various fixes, it turns out that it adds a guide on how to find the tutorial.
The thing is that Elden Ring features a “hidden” tutorial. The player was supposed to stumble upon this guide in the Cave of Knowledge.
However, something went wrong. In any case, with the new patch, Elden Ring players are greeted by a message screaming about this tutorial. It unambiguously makes it clear that the tutorial is worth checking out.
Remarkably, FromSoftware previously pointed to this guide through “in-game” means. A ghost directed the player, but people didn’t trust it. This is probably due to the reputation of FromSoftware games, which love to “prank” players by throwing all sorts of surprises their way.
For example, to their own surprise, a player stumbled upon this tutorial after spending nearly 200 hours in Elden Ring.
