Information recently surfaced that enthusiasts had obtained a playable 2001 build of Duke Nukem Forever. The game, evidently, differs markedly from what fans of “Duke” were presented with upon release.
The Duke Nukem Forever build was supposed to be published in the summer, but it was leaked online ahead of schedule. Just one day after the announcement.
The release was commented on as follows: “Hope none of you believed [that nonsense about a June release], we just couldn’t hold back and announced the Duke Nukem Forever leak with a delay”.
The post is available via the link, but getting access to the press kit (49 MB) and the build weighing almost 900 MB from Russia will not be possible.
