Assassin's Creed Origins to receive 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the coming days

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Origins will soon receive an update unlocking 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Update 1.60 will be released between May 24 and May 26, adding an additional feature — the “Franchise Menu”, which will allow players to browse and purchase other entries in the series.

Assassin's Creed Origins became a turning point for the series, releasing after a long hiatus that followed a sharp decline in sales and franchise quality. Unity was a heavy blow, and the hostility toward the series did not disappear even after the release of Syndicate. The developers made an attempt to reboot Assassin's Creed, revamping the approach to the open world, the combat system, and gameplay mechanics.
