Path of Exile players received an apology for nerfed loot drop rates, but nothing will be changed

The Path of Exile developers released a whole manifesto dedicated to the game's design philosophy. It all boils down to the fact that nothing will change

Recently we wrote about secret changes in Path of Exile. Players clearly did not appreciate the adjusted loot drop rate.

Path of Exile began receiving a noticeable number of negative reviews on Steam, and bloggers also slammed the developers. Some expressed a desire to stop playing Path of Exile.

Soon, the Path of Exile developers responded and released an entire manifesto. In it, they presented the philosophy that the team has been following recently.

  1. Reward mechanisms should scale appropriately with item quantity and rarity bonuses.
  2. Players should fight fewer rare monsters at the same time, but they should be more difficult and rewarding (better rewards).
  3. There should not be a large gap between difficulty and rewards in league content versus base game content.

Overall, the manifesto boils down to the fact that they will not change anything.

A blogger gave an assessment of this manifesto.
