Reviews of Immortality have been quite positive. The project by the creator of Her Story focuses on a fictional actress. She starred in three movies—in 1968, 1970, and 1999—none of which were ever released. The woman herself disappeared. Players will have to examine the footage to uncover what happened.
On Metacritic, the interactive movie Immortality earned 93 points for the Xbox Series X version, based on 7 reviews. The PC version scored slightly lower, 90 points out of 100 based on 22 reviews.
Some outlets awarded the game a 10 out of 10. For example, XboxEra pointed out only pros, with no cons whatsoever.
