Actor from Judgment was canceled over a drug scandal and cut from the game. PC modders restored his voice and appearance

One of the characters in Judgment was replaced following a drug-related scandal. PC modders decided to bring the original actor back to the Yakuza spin-off

A developer known as Timo654 introduced a modification for the game Judgment. It aims to bring back the actor who was previously canceled.

Several years ago, SEGA decided to adjust the character’s appearance after a scandal occurred. Actor Pierre Taki was arrested for drug use (considered a serious crime in Japan). The developers redesigned the model itself and part of the content, as the character appeared in pre-rendered scenes.

The modification Judgment Pierre Taki Restoration Patch restores the character’s original appearance and voice. It is an adapted port of the mod originally created for PlayStation 4.
