Microsoft introduced long-awaited features for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

The company has released the October update for Xbox, in which it listened to community requests and added important changes.

You can now change your TV volume using Xbox Series X|S. It uses an HDMI feature called Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), which allows you to adjust the volume without a remote control.

Gamers can also completely mute the Xbox startup sound. This feature has long been requested by users. Simply go to settings to adjust the sound or turn it off entirely.

Microsoft has also improved the ability to change the home console. The option allows friends or family members to play offline. 

Access to the list of new features has been simplified, which now includes an updated tab with power modes.

A new form of security tied to the Xbox profile is now available. You can set an Xbox PIN and an Xbox Guest PIN so that only people who know the key can sign in to the corresponding accounts.

In addition, gamers can look forward to controller improvements (Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, Xbox Series X|S Wireless Controllers, Xbox Adaptive Controllers, Xbox One Wireless Controllers with Bluetooth), and the Xbox app has undergone some interesting changes – you can easily trim video clips before sending them to friends. Xbox Game Bar (PC) has also received updates that will make preparing video content easier — clips can now be shared directly to Medal.tv.
