First trailer for Sand Land from creators of Dragon Ball released. Bandai Namco prepares for announcement

The portfolio of Japanese publisher Bandai Namco holds many interesting intellectual properties with a large fan base.

Many gamers are waiting for new content on Tekken 8 – the release of the fighting game was mentioned at a recent investor meeting. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will arrive on new consoles in early 2023, while fans of challenging games are waiting for new modes in Elden Ring. 

Now the Sand Land project has been announced as a result of a collaboration with Akira Toriyama, the creator of the Dragon Ball series. Aside from the short video presented below, there is no information, but it will be shared on December 17.

Sand Land is a short manga created and drawn by Toriyama, which was published in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2000. At the center of the plot is the fate of the inhabitants of a desert, completely depleted world, where living beings have a hard time getting access to water. Years of natural disasters and wars have led to this. When the greedy king sets an increasingly high price for his citizens to access the resource, Rao asks demons to help find a new water source. He is joined by Beelzebub and Thief.
