Russian voice acting discovered in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The game was banned from sale in Russia and released without Russian localization

As it turns out, Marvel’s Midnight Suns was at some point planned to be released with full Russian localization

Marvel’s Midnight Suns was delayed several times, but the release still took place in early December. Overall, the game was received fairly well on Steam, and a certain interest in Firaxis Games’ new title persists to this day.

A user nicknamed Haoose revealed that Marvel’s Midnight Suns contains Russian voice acting (likely incomplete). He managed to find some traces of localization.

Officially, Marvel’s Midnight Suns does not support the Russian language, and the game is not sold in Russia. A machine translation is available, made using “Yandex Translate”.

The publisher is 2K, and a launcher was added to the game. During tests, it was found that the performance of Marvel’s Midnight Suns can be significantly improved by disabling the 2K launcher.
