Hacker who hacked the PS3 will not fix Twitter

The programmer famous for hacking the security system of the PlayStation 3 console has decided to quit his job at Twitter. George Hotz will no longer assist Elon Musk.

In November, the famous American hacker George “Geohot” Hotz joined the Twitter team. In the past, he gained fame by hacking the security system of the PlayStation 3 console, and now he undertook to help improve Twitter. The collaboration was expected to last at least twelve weeks, but it ended after eight. The hacker posted a tweet announcing his decision:

“Resigned from Twitter today. Appreciate the opportunity, but didn’t think there was any real impact I could make there. Besides, it was sad seeing my GitHub wither. Back to coding!”

However, the coder stated that he hopes for the success of Twitter 2.0. Interestingly, like Elon Musk, he decided in advance to ask the community whether he should leave the company. According to the poll results, it became clear that platform users considered him the right person for the job. But apparently, this did not change his mind much.
