Gameplay footage of Mecharashi, formerly known as Front Mission 2089, has surfaced

Players leak gameplay footage of large humanoid robots battling in the closed beta of Mecharashi, a former game in the Front Mission universe.

Originally, the turn-based tactical role-playing game was supposed to take place in the Front Mission universe from Square Enix. However, shortly before the closed beta test began, publisher ZlongGames changed the title from Front Mission 2089: Borderscape to Mecharashi.

The closed beta testing is currently taking place in China, and users are sharing gameplay recordings on YouTube.  The developers did not alter the original Front Mission concept. Turn-based battles involving large humanoid robots take place on a small grid-based map.

The release date for the global version of this cross-platform project has not yet been announced. Presumably, the publisher will first launch the game in China, and only then, in the event of a successful launch, in other countries. Mecharashi will be available on PC, Android, and iOS.

Below are several videos that appeared on YouTube and the official trailer.
