Don’t expect surprises at Xbox Developer_Direct. Microsoft is “playing with open cards”

In the first half of the month, Microsoft invited players to the Xbox Developer_Direct event, which will showcase fresh footage of four games: Redfall, Minecraft Legends, Forza Motorsport, and The Elder Scrolls Online.

The company is expected to announce release dates, but gamers shouldn’t count on announcements of new games.

Content creator Parris noted that Microsoft is “playing with open cards” in this case – the event will focus exclusively on four games, a statement met with a positive reaction from Xbox VP of Games Marketing Aaron Greenberg.

In recent days, rumors have circulated suggesting that Microsoft might conclude the event with a surprise reveal of a new product or confirm the Gears of War Collection.

However, Xbox Developer_Direct will strictly be a showcase of previously announced titles. The stream kicks off on January 25 at 23:00 Moscow time – Russian and Ukrainian subtitles have been promised.
