Hogwarts Legacy was released without a full Russian localization, with only subtitles available. Some players would like to have voice acting as well.
The GamesVoice team is open to releasing a full Russian localization of Hogwarts Legacy. A fundraiser has been launched.
In the announcement, they noted that working on Hogwarts Legacy will be massive: “The scope of the game is colossal — the total duration of all voice lines exceeds 33 hours”.
They also pointed out that this project could become a turning point in the history of unofficial localizations of major games: “Frankly speaking, right now, in these very days, hours, and minutes, the fate of unofficial game dubbing in Russia is being decided. And you are the ones deciding it. If our fundraiser for Hogwarts: Legacy is not successful, we will most likely permanently abandon crowdfunding for major projects, focusing instead on sponsored commissions for smaller games”.
