Until March 1, the game is available with a 15% discount, after which the price will increase. The remake was developed by Triskell Interactive, which previously released the Victorian steampunk simulator Lethis.
Pharaoh: A New Era offers content from the base original game and the Cleopatra: Queen of the Nile expansion. The creators improved the visuals, revamped the user interface, and introduced a number of promising gameplay enhancements, simplifying city building and managing subjects.
The release caused quite a stir. Impressions Games' products remain among the best city-building games to this day. In recent years, there have been attempts to recreate their magic in new games, with 2021's Nebuchadnezzar being the best example, but none of the clones could match the original.
At the time of publication, the game has an 80% rating based on 309 reviews, and the peak reached 5,376 concurrent players.
