Alexey Makarenkov shared a little exclusive. He asked questions to the developers at Mundfish and received answers.
There are plans for a sequel: “Atomic Heart 2 is already planned, and it is very likely to happen”. However, they are not ready to share sales information just yet (Mundfish has a planned major press announcement on this topic).
At one point, the developers of Atomic Heart were not very fond of DLCs, but everything is different now. Several expansions are being prepared for Atomic Heart.
Alexey Makarenkov also shared another small piece of inside information: it seems sales of Atomic Heart specifically through VK Play are “very good” compared to VK’s expenses on promotion, rights, etc. Specific figures are unknown, but sources reported that everything has already broken even and with a good margin.
