Insider report: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 development is frozen and GSC cannot cut out the Russian language because there are simply no others in the game

Insider information continues to emerge regarding the status of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl. It appears that things are going very poorly

Leaks of materials on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl continue. Information regarding potential issues with the game is also surfacing.

Blogger Antishnaps drew attention to yet another inside report from Daniil Nexus about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl. According to available information, GSC Game World* has found itself in an awkward situation:

“The development of the game has been frozen since the 11th. They cannot remove the Russian interface at the moment because there are simply no other languages in the game right now. Access to game materials has been revoked from all employees.” Now access is restricted to a limited circle of individuals.

It was on March 11 that an asset leak occurred and an ultimatum was issued to the developers.

The game has no publisher. Microsoft is allegedly not concerned about the state of the game, nor can it control anything (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is set to release directly on Xbox Game Pass).

It remains unknown how reliable this information regarding the state of GSC Game World*’s game actually is.
