The player is smaller than an ant. Survival game with giant insects Smalland launches on Steam and EGS

Fans of Grounded should check out Smalland: Survive the Wilds. The new release is built on similar principles.

In Smalland, the player becomes a tiny character compared to whom even ants look like giants. They find themselves in a huge world and, as is customary for survival games, must do everything possible not to die, using crafting, structure building, and combat. 

“Once we lived freely under the light of the Moon and the Sun, until the giants took over our world. Centuries have passed since then, but stories of the wonders of surface life are still passed down by word of mouth. Now the giants are gone... The time has come to return! A vital mission is entrusted to you, the pioneers. A long journey through wild lands awaits you. Be brave and do not falter in the face of danger...”

Merge Games studio emphasizes co-op. Up to 10 players can play simultaneously in multiplayer mode, but nothing prevents exploring the world alone.

Despite being in Early Access (the final version is scheduled to be released within a year), the game has gathered an 84% positive rating after 850 reviews. Smalland features Russian localization.
