One of the studio’s employees, touting their achievements in the gaming industry, confirmed some interesting figures – Xbox Game Pass grew from 5 million subscribers to more than 25 million between January 2018 and September 2022, with revenue growing to 2 billion dollars over four years. The compound annual growth rate was 54%.
The number of monthly active users increased 15-fold across more than 26 markets, while the number of PC Game Pass subscribers grew fivefold during that time.
Already 15 million gamers have signed up for PC Game Pass, and during this time partnerships have been expanded with Netflix, HBO, Disney, F1, and Paramount.
