The Yuzu emulator will allow playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in 4K at 60 fps without hacks

The Yuzu emulator development team has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now playable in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.

Importantly, playing in the emulator no longer requires any hacks. All that needs to be done is to download Yuzu from the official website.

Since this is an official announcement, it can be safely assumed that the entirety of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is playable. Thus, PC gamers can complete the new Zelda from start to finish.

Naturally, modern graphics cards are required for such resolution and frame rates. However, for example, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 is capable of running the game in 8K resolution. In addition, according to reports, the v3 patch for 60 fps fixes cutscene speedup issues.

You can download the latest version of Yuzu via the link. The game’s ROM file can easily be found online.
