Recently, Uncle Burrito showed what Need for Speed Underground 2 looks like with ray tracing. NVIDIA RTX Remix (a toolkit for creating fan remasters) helped him create the project.
Back then, the demonstration of Need for Speed Underground 2 with ray tracing did not go very smoothly, as visual glitches caught viewers’ eyes. Uncle Burrito published a new video; this time the game looks much better, although it is still far from ideal. The modder improved volumetric lighting and RTX Remix integration, and replaced textures of asphalt and other surfaces.
Uncle Burrito’s gameplay recording stutters. In the video description, Uncle Burrito clarified that the game itself runs well (even on low-end PCs).
