CD Projekt RED has released its financial report for the first quarter of 2023. It turns out that The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is among the top ten best-selling games in history.
Sales of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt have already exceeded 50 million copies, and total sales of games in The Witcher series exceed 75 million copies.
CD Projekt RED teams are distributed as follows. The main resources are dedicated to the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, and many specialists are also working on the new The Witcher game (codenamed Polaris).
Revenue is ~41.5 million dollars (175 million Polish zloty). That is 19% less than in the first quarter of 2022.
Net profit is ~17 million dollars (71.5 million Polish zloty). That is 16% less than in the same period of 2022.
