Previously, rumors about Russian localization for Final Fantasy 16 had already circulated online. Now, confirmation has appeared on the Square Enix website.
Voice acting in 6 languages has been announced for Final Fantasy 16 — there is no Russian voice acting, but English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese are present. Only Russian subtitles are available.
The presence of Russian localization in Final Fantasy 16 is notable because it was absent from recent games in the Final Fantasy series.
The release of Final Fantasy 16 is scheduled for June 22, so far only for the next-generation PlayStation 5 console.
