PS5 and PS4 are only the third most popular platform for Call of Duty. Xbox failed to reach the podium

During testimony in a US court, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick confirmed that Microsoft cannot abandon releasing Call of Duty on PlayStation, as the PS5 and PS4 are the series’ most popular consoles.

Mobile devices are the most popular platforms in daily and monthly data: 35.7 million players log onto the servers daily via smartphones and tablets. By comparison – 17.5 million players log in from PC, 11.2 million from PlayStation, and 5.6 million from Xbox.

Taking the entire franchise into account, it is Call of Duty: Mobile that accounts for more than 50% of interest across all Activision customers.
