The excitement over the potential chance to get The Elder Scrolls Online has turned into annoyance and surprise

Recently, the Epic Games Store announced a free giveaway of The Elder Scrolls Online. Soon after, the game disappeared from the lineup.

Even more questions arose after The Elder Scrolls Online lost its store page on EGS. Attempting to visit the old page returns a 404 error.

It is not yet entirely clear what is happening with The Elder Scrolls Online on the Epic Games Store. The Steam page is still available. Some believe this is simply a routine EGS glitch.

EGS as of the evening of July 14.
