Fallout fans are extremely dissatisfied with one of Bethesda's executives. Head of publishing Pete Hines, as some believe, responded quite rudely to a fan.
To the question: “…any update on the Fallout 4 [next-gen] update? It’s been awfully quiet for quite some time, with nothing shared with the community”.
Pete Hines replied: “Not sure if you’ve heard, but we are shipping a brand new game in about 3 weeks [Starfield]. A bit of a priority. When we have updates, we will share them”.
The next-gen update for Fallout 4 was announced in October 2022, with the release planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It was supposed to take place in 2023, but so far everything has been quiet.
