A short announcement was made before The International 2023 grand finals. Valve introduced a new Dota 2 hero.
A trailer for Ringmaster has been released, with the newcomer expected to launch in 2024. A detailed breakdown of the mechanics has not been provided yet.
There is an interesting detail concerning Ringmaster: mentions of the hero were spotted back in September, and in the game files he was also called Puppet Master — the name of a hero from the defunct Heroes of Newerth, whom fans had proposed bringing into Dota 2.
In the trailer, Axe, another Dota 2 character, finds himself in an unpleasant situation: https://youtu.be/zaxkhjl75aw
