Rocksteady will try to convince players that Suicide Squad is still worth waiting for

Rocksteady Studios has announced that a new Suicide Squad Insider campaign will kick off on November 15, aimed at introducing players to the world of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

A series of videos is planned for release, each dedicated to specific aspects of the game. The first episode will focus on the story and gameplay.

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League – is one of the most troubled games in recent years, at least for the developers. As a reminder, it was announced in August 2020. Initially, the release was planned for 2022, but was then pushed back to spring 2023. Later, the date was clarified to May 2023, but afterwards the game was delayed once again until February 2, 2024. It seems to be the final release date, but nothing can be said for sure.

Most likely, the decision was made after harsh criticism rained down on “Suicide Squad” following the publication of a 6-minute gameplay trailer. It did not look particularly innovative or appealing, and the disappointment was compounded by news about the game’s online-only nature featuring a cosmetic battle pass without an offline mode even for single-player play.
