State of Decay 3 developers still haven’t shown the game, but appear to be developing another one

To date, Undead Labs has released two games – State of Decay in 2013 and State of Decay 2 in 2018, and the team is still working on its next zombie adventure. It is unknown when the game will be released, but an interesting situation deserves attention.

Animator Daniel Floyd left the Microsoft team in early 2023, but recently updated his LinkedIn profile, where he reported working on an as-yet unannounced game. By the time Floyd left the studio, Undead Labs had long confirmed work on State of Decay 3, so it seems the developer took on the creation of yet another game.

This is curious, as players have already been waiting three years for a full presentation of State of Decay 3. For now, it is difficult to guess when these games will be shown.
