The GTA 5 source code was sold for an incredibly low price — just $2,000. Having spent the money, the purchasing group tried to resell it for $6,000. After nobody wanted to buy the code, even after the price was reduced, one of the group members decided to leak the code online.
User TMP said “GTA can burn,” after which he was scolded for the potential trouble he would cause by publishing the source code.
One user said: “I really hope you realize what a problem you’ve created,” to which TMP replied: “Then I’ll just leak the whole thing, dude. No half measures.”
This has not happened yet.
