PlayStation set a new platform audience record toward the end of 2023

Sony PlayStation consoles continue to be actively bought across many parts of the world. The company managed to attract a record number of users to the platform

Sony made an appearance at CES 2024. As it turned out, PlayStation closed 2023 very successfully.

The fact is that in December, the MAU figure (Monthly Active Users) reached 123 million users — the best result in PlayStation history.

It was also noted that total sales of the next-generation PlayStation 5 consoles have already exceeded 50 million units.

For comparison, in its Q2 financial report, Sony reported 107 million MAU on PlayStation in September 2023, meaning there is significant audience growth (presumably tied to PS5 sales).
